Jain Network’s governance is carried out in accordance with Charity Commission and Companies House rules and as per the management enshrined in the Jain tradition.
The management of the Jain Network and Jain Centre development is carried out by the Board of Trustees including our Founder Chair, Dr Natubhai Shah, who is spearheading the project as Chairman/Chief Executive until project completion and by Office bearers, including : Dr Ajitkumar Shah -Secretary; Mr Dipak Shah -Treasurer with support from Prafula Shah, PR & Communications. In line with our Constitution, other Trustees are elected annually and hold various portfolios for the delivery of our current events and services and management of the current building.
The Board is also responsible for fund raising and the overall management of Jain Network, procurement of the resources, strategic planning, risk management, quality standards and monitoring and evaluating our work and projects. We are able to appoint committees from the stakeholders, sub-committees, overseas trustees, global ambassadors, portfolio holders, staff, volunteers, advisors, professionals and consultants as required. For the day to management the Trustees appoint committees as necessary and these committees, administrative staff and volunteers carry out day to day activities.
Jain Network follows statutory regulations and has produced guidelines and policies, including safeguarding vulnerable adults and children, equal opportunities, health and safety, financial procedures and guidelines for the working groups and volunteers.
- The Jain Network is a registered charity (No: 1131386) and a non-profit company (No: 06752627) in England and Wales. It has also registered a Community Interest Company (CIC) for its planned social enterprise work

- Jain International Organisation (JIO) (JIO website link) launched its UK chapter at the House of Commons on 5 August 2016 and Jain Network has been selected as the international headquarters of JIO.
